Just when the world needs some serious help, Mercy Music and Danger Days have joined forces with Double Helix Records to unleash a spirited punk rock split 7” that features one previously unreleased track from each band and a much-needed jolt of sonic catharsis.
Mercy Music – Brendan Scholz, Jarred Cooper, and Ryan Seaman – are back with their first release since the Bill Stevenson-produced What You Stand To Lose. Following in the punk rock footsteps of acts like The Ramones, The Clash, and Green Day, the Las Vegas trio channels the spirit of punk’s early days with raw emotion and finely crafted songs that resonate beyond fast guitars and angst. Mercy Music consistently delivers no-frills, rebellious rock songs that remind you what punk means: connection, catharsis, and survival through sound. Scholz says it best: “We’re not reinventing the wheel. But I don’t think a band is doing exactly what we do. And honestly? That’s enough for me.”
Danger Days – Nikola Sarcevic, Chazz Valentine, Tony Smith, and Scott Lamb – is a four-piece punk rock band with members spanning Sweden, UK, and New Zealand. Born out of a shared love for loud guitars, raw energy, and honest songwriting, Danger Days is a true project band—writing and recording music purely for the joy of creating. With no label pressures and no expectations beyond making something real, the band exists as a creative outlet and a connection point for like-minded listeners around the world. With members from Millencolin, The Rabble, Movin In Stereo and Flirting With Disaster, this is punk rock without the posturing—just four friends making noise and hoping it finds the right ears.
Following the May 2025 digital release of their debut EP, this Mercy Music/Danger Days Split 7” is the first-ever appearance of Danger Days on vinyl.
Featuring artwork by Doom Toof Design and mastered by Grammy Award winner Jason Livermore (Rise Against, Hot Water Music, Descendents, NOFX) at The Blasting Room, this 45RPM Mercy Music/Danger Days Split 7” was proudly pressed by Hellbender Vinyl in Pittsburgh, PA, USA.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
The real charm of custom vinyl records is that every record might be somewhat unique in its appearance. So please know that the product photos are mockups and the ones you receive might not look exactly like the ones pictured here, but they will be close approximations – or something even more magical!
*Please use caution with USPS Media Mail. This method is offered as an old school budget service for physical music, but highly discouraged, as it poses a greater risk for delays and damage.
